Our Story

The Pizzeria on Pine was born of two places we love: New York and Jersey City. With deep roots in the classic New York slice and a homegrown connection to the Jersey City community, our restaurant brings together the best of both sides of the river. It's a nod to the city that raised us and the neighborhood that now surrounds us. We don’t do pretense. We do pizza, pasta, and good food made by people who give a damn. Our dough is fermented slow, stretched by hand, and baked hot. Just six ingredients: flour, water, yeast, salt, sugar, and olive oil — no weird stuff, no bleach, no bromates. Just real- deal, American-grown flour and a long nap in the fridge for that perfect fold, chew, and crunch. Our heros (never subs) are loaded, our sauces are made in-house, our cheese is grated fresh, and our specials are inspired by what’s in season, local, or just what we’re craving. Our entire kitchen is nut-free — so everyone at the table can enjoy something delicious. Gluten-free? We’ve got that. Vegan or vegetarian? You bet. This is a place where regulars feel like family, first-timers feel like they’ve found something special, and every bite brings you a little closer to the kitchen.
